Weight loss and eating fats! Sound impossible, but is it? Eating fats is necessary for anyone who wants to be healthy and lose several pounds. This, according to a new study by American scientists, published in specialized publications.
As one can guess – it’s about unsaturated fatty acids. It has now been shown to accelerate metabolism and improve digestion. Moreover, under their influence the body stops to accumulate fat deposits.
The team at the University of Washington Medical School explains that useful unsaturated fatty acids activate a specific protein, PPAR-alpha, which burns the subcutaneous fat in the abdomen, thighs and buttocks, and also protects the liver from possible fat deposits.
Another beneficial property of said unsaturated fatty acids is their ability to stabilize blood glucose levels, thus suppressing the sense of hunger and allowing for a long time to retain the feeling of satiety.
Tender pork from a young animal. The regular consumption of lean pork in moderate amounts is useful for the cardiovascular system. Some nutritionists even think that this meat is more important than white chicken because it contains monounsaturated fats and potassium.
Lamb. Besides monounsaturated fats, it contains alpha-linolenic acid. Its deficiency in the human body leads to muscular weakness, a sense of fatigue and mood swings. This meat also contains vitamin B12, niacin, zinc and selenium – substances that are of vital importance to the female organism.
Nuts. Useful fats give us walnuts, cedar nuts, almonds, hazelnuts. They are also excellent prophylaxis for the cardiovascular system, reducing the risk of heart failure and stroke.
Vegetable fats: sunflower oil, olive oil, linseed oil. Here it is important to remember that beneficial properties have cold-pressed fats. Flaxseed oil has a proven anti-cancer effect.
Natural chocolate. The most useful one for weight loss is that the cocoa butter is at least 70%. To take maximum advantage of its antioxidant properties, specialists advise to eat strawberries or green tea.
Avocado. It is not to be believed that this exotic fruit contains 75% of mono- and polyunsaturated triglycerides. Its composition includes almost 30 vitamins, minerals and vitamin-like compounds. All the useful ingredients work if we eat it harshly.
